Do I need a licence?
Scooters: yes — a valid Australian car licence, or a valid international car licence (English, or with an official translation). No motorcycle licence needed for 50cc scooters. E-bikes: no licence required.
How does the rental process work?
It's simple: book and pay online, receive your pickup details, then collect your scooter or e-bike at 23 Wharf Road, Surfers Paradise. Enjoy your ride, and return it at the agreed time and same location.
Do you have a physical store?
No. Easy Aussie is a 100% online hire service. All bookings are made online and vehicles are delivered to the pickup address shown at checkout — the address is for delivery & pickup only, not a retail shop.
How much is the deposit / bond?
The bond is just $300 per booking and is fully refundable 24 hours after you return the vehicle. The 24-hour window lets us check for any infringements, fines or faults with QLD Transport.
How old do I need to be?
Riders must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid licence (for scooters).
Can I start my hire in the afternoon?
Yes — you can start at any time of day, subject to availability. Your hire is on a 24-hour basis, so if you pick up at 3:00pm, it's due back by 3:00pm the next day.
What's included in the price?
Every hire includes the scooter or e-bike, one helmet, third party insurance, storage (for scooters), locker, and a phone holder.
Can two people ride one scooter?
No. Our 50cc scooters and e-bikes are for single riders only, in line with safety and legal guidelines.
What if I return it late?
Late returns (after 6pm) may incur additional charges. Please contact us as soon as possible if you expect a delay — a quick message helps us avoid any issues.
